HeteRUN

HeteRUN is Heteren’s running event, taking place on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The event offers distances for all ages, including kids’ runs of 500 and 1,000 metres, as well as challenging 5 km and 10 km running routes. The routes are suitable for both experienced and advanced runners and take place in the heart of Heteren. The start location is the square in front of the ‘living room of Heteren’ (Kwadrant 2, Heteren). Timing is by shoe chip. Collect your race number and chip from 13:00 for the 5 km and from 14:00 for the 10 km at Het Hart van Heteren. Changing rooms are available at Massage Praktijk Beleef. A toilet trailer is available; there are no showers. First aid is available. Registration is open until Saturday at 20:00; there is no registration on the day itself. Registration opens on June 1, 2026, and closes at 20:00 on the Saturday before the event, with no option to register on the day itself. The event is held on the square in front of the ‘living room of Heteren’ and includes facilities such as toilets, but no showers.
