Pietenloop Bemmel

The Pietenloop is a small, friendly recreational run in Bemmel, suitable for the whole family. Children can choose from three distances (400, 800 and 1,200 metres), starting on the athletics track, while adults take part in a 5 km run through the countryside around Bemmel. The Pieten are there to lead the warm-up and run alongside the children, giving the event a festive atmosphere. The start is at De Heister sports park, where changing rooms and showers are also available. After the run, there is a treat for everyone, and young participants receive a lovely Pieten medal.

The Pieten lead the warm-up for children at 9:45. There is no electronic timekeeping; a central clock is used. The first-, second- and third-place finishers in the children’s races and the 5 km will be listed on the website. Food and drinks can be paid for by QR code in the clubhouse. The venue opens at 9:00 for race-number collection. A family-friendly event for children with Pieten, held at De Heister sports park in Bemmel.
