Zeezichtloop Petten

The Zeezichtloop Petten takes place on 18 October 2026, starting and finishing at Plein 1945 in the heart of Petten. The event offers various distances for runners and walkers, including a relaxed 10- or 15-kilometre walk, a challenging 5 km running route completed twice, and a festive Kids Run for the youngest participants. The course passes through the village centre, along the dike with beautiful sea views, and through dunes and woodland. Steep climbs and loose sand have been avoided to make the course more accessible. The day concludes with prize-giving and the presentation of the Erik ten Velden trophy to the fastest Pettemer in the 10 km.

Online registration is open until 17 October 2026 at 17:00. The Kids Run is divided into age categories with different numbers of laps (ages 2–4: 1 lap, approximately 350 m; ages 5–8: 2 laps, approximately 700 m; ages 9–12: 3 laps, approximately 1,100 m). The Erik ten Velden trophy is awarded to the fastest Pettemer in the 10 km. Results and photos are available via the website and social media channels. Walkers can choose 10 or 15 km and go at their own pace, without the pressure of competition. Routes along the sea, through woodland and along the dike; registration until 17 October 2026; free parking; rainproof fairground run
