StoneCityRun

The DYKA StoneCityRun is an atmospheric running event in Steenwijk, taking place on 20 September 2026. Participants run along the historic ramparts, through Rams Woerthe park and the centre of Steenwijk, with plenty of spectators and entertainment along the course. There are various distances for all ages and abilities, including special events such as the G-Run for people with disabilities and a walking tour. The event celebrates inclusivity and a friendly atmosphere, with the start at Theater de Meenthe and the finish at the Markt.

After registration closes, it is possible to collect a blank bib at the start location, De Meenthe, from 13:00 on 20 September, without timekeeping. Children under 6 must be accompanied, and those accompanying children or people with disabilities may participate for free. Changing rooms and showers are available at the start location, and parking is available. The rollator run is specifically for older people, and the G-Run is inclusive, with support and assistive aids permitted. Participants can choose from various distances, including 0.6 km, 1.5 km, 3 km, 5 km and 10 km. The event also offers walks and special runs for people with disabilities, as well as parking, changing rooms and showers. Registration closes on 1 September 2026.
