Rondehoeploop

The Rondehoeploop is a friendly and popular running race in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, celebrating its 40th anniversary edition in 2027. The race offers challenging courses of 17.2 km and 5 km, plus a 2 km children’s race, with a welcoming start and finish at De Bindelwijk sports hall. The event attracts many participants and spectators each year, thanks in part to the enthusiastic volunteers and the crowds along the course. Every participant receives a medal, and various prizes are awarded across different age categories.

Race numbers can be collected on the day from 9:30 to 11:00 at De Bindelwijk sports hall. Same-day registration is no longer available for the running distances; it is available only for walking and the children’s race. Timing uses the MYLAPS Bibtag system, with the chip incorporated into the race number. Net time is recorded. The starting gun for the children’s race goes off at 11:42. All participants receive a medal, and various prizes and trophies are awarded across different age categories. The fastest Ouderkerkers receive a dinner/lunch voucher, and a perpetual trophy after three consecutive wins. Anniversary edition; advance registration required; includes route directions and refreshment stations along the course.
