Race description
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the very first Pieken+Dalen Festival will take place at RCN het Grote Bos in Doorn, organized by Stichting DiabetesPlus. This unique event combines walking and running over a range of distances, from a 5-kilometer loop to a marathon, in the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug. After the effort, a warm welcome awaits at the festival grounds, with opportunities to meet, music, a Buddy Tent, a Q&A with diabetes researchers, a TechTent, and various food trucks. The festival offers a special opportunity to face the peaks and valleys of blood sugar together with friends, family, and fellow athletes in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
