Race description

The Derko Night Trail is the region of Utrecht’s premier running event in the dark, organized by BodyRun and IJ-run together with many volunteers. The start and finish are at Skipiste Nieuwegein, where a lively afterparty is also held. The trail runs through a beautiful nature area and offers various distances for both trail and paved-surface runners. Participants must use a headlamp because the event takes place in the dark, adding to its unique atmosphere.

Highlights

  • Trail runs on unpaved paths through a nature area
  • Start and finish at Skipiste Nieuwegein with catering facilities
  • The route is marked with reflectors and ribbons; headlamps are mandatory
