Race description
The MaatGarant Run Bike Marathon is an accessible, sporty event where teams of 2 to 4 participants cover a marathon distance of 42.195 km together. Each team member runs about 10 kilometres while the others cycle, making it ideal for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. Organised by AV Spirit in Oud-Beijerland, the event is all about achieving something together, having fun and team building, rather than focusing on winning. The marathon takes place on Sunday, 27 September 2026, and offers a friendly, personal atmosphere, similar to the RopaRun but on a smaller scale and closer to home.

Additional information
Teams start at 60-second intervals, with the fastest runners setting off last so that all teams finish at about the same time. All participants receive a medal and a keepsake. Prizes are awarded to teams finishing in 5th, 10th and 15th place, not just to the three fastest teams. There is ample parking at the start/finish location. Team building, accessible, sporty and fun; suitable for groups and companies.
