Klap tot Klaploop

The Klap tot Klaploop is a unique running race with no laps. You travel by bus to the start in Musselkanaal, then run straight back to the centre of Stadskanaal. The flat, fast course is ideal for setting a personal best, while the enthusiastic crowds and friendly atmosphere along the route make for a special experience. The 35th edition takes place on Easter Monday, 29 March 2027—a day of sport, challenge and fun for everyone.

Race numbers can be collected on the Saturday before Easter from 10:00 to 14:00 at De Jonge Sport in Stadskanaal, or on the day of the event until 11:30 at the organisers’ tent. Free bus transport is provided from Europalaan in Stadskanaal to the start locations in Musselkanaal for the 5 km and 10 km runners. Wheelchair racers and handcyclists arrange their own transport. Clothing trucks and portable toilets are available at the start locations. There are no showers. Start in Musselkanaal, finish in Stadskanaal; no transport is provided from Stadskanaal to the start locations. The event is supported by local businesses and has a long history, with the 32nd edition in 2027.
