Kievit Sport Twentsche Cross Competitie

The Kievit Sport Twentse Cross Competition is a challenging cross-country series comprising six races in Twente’s beautiful natural areas. The competition offers a unique opportunity to test yourself against peers and enjoy the region’s winter conditions. The races vary in distance and are open to different age categories, from youth to masters. With strong local involvement and sponsors such as Kievit Sport and Wiggers Vleeswaren, this competition is a much-loved event among runners in Twente.

Race numbers can be collected at locations such as Zwembad de Vijf Heuvels (Markelo). Changing rooms and toilets are available. For age categories, the reference date is the participant’s age at the final race for youth and at the first race for masters. The competition is made possible in part by local sponsors and six athletics clubs. A 2.5/5 km Canicross distance is also held during the Hulsbeekcross. The competition includes races such as Hessenheemcross, Wintercross, Oudejaarscross, Rutbeekcross, Hulsbeekcross and Dinkelcross, with results and standings available on the official website.
