Race description
The Midwintercross in Heeten is a regional cross-country race that is part of the Sallands Cross Circuit and is organised by SV Heeten. The 54th edition takes place on Sunday, 3 January 2027, at Sportpark SV Heeten. The course runs through the sports park and the woods around Schoonheten, with approximately 70 per cent unpaved terrain and gentle elevation changes. The routes offer green landscapes and wooded sections, and the prize winners are honoured in an annual ceremony after the race. The Midwintercross has a long history and has become a regular cross-country race in the region.
