HooilandRun

The HooilandRUN is a friendly running race in and around the ’t Hooiland neighbourhood in Lichtenvoorde, suitable for beginner and experienced runners, children and adults. The course combines semi-paved walking paths with paved surfaces, including rolling paths and two short climbs. Several distances are offered, including 1 km and 2 km for children, and 5 km and 10 km for adults. The organisers provide chip timing, water stations and prizes for the fastest runners.

Chip timing; chips are handed out at registration and must be returned after the race. Changing facilities are available, but there are no showers. A water station is provided on the 10 km route, with an additional station in warm weather. All children receive medals; trophies are awarded to the three fastest children in each short-distance race and to the three fastest men and women in each adult-distance race. The race takes place on a course with varied surfaces and short climbs, and is held at Wijkgebouw de Schoppe. There are no shower facilities.
