Race description
The Dark Sky Trail Lauwersmeer is a unique nighttime running and walking event held in the official Dark Sky Park Lauwersmeer, one of the darkest areas in Europe. The race offers three events: canicross, trail running and a walking tour, all approximately 10 km long. Participants run in the dark, with headlamps permitted only in emergencies, creating a special experience. Registration raises awareness of light pollution through a donation for each participant.
