Bierrun Groningen

The Bierrun Groningen on 17 October 2026 is a sociable social fun run of approximately 8 kilometres through the city of Groningen. Along the route, you’ll visit four local breweries, where you can sample five delicious Groningen beers. There is no timekeeping; the focus is on running together, enjoying beer and discovering interesting stories about beer. The start and finish are at Folkingebrew The Pub, and afterwards there’s a get-together for one last drink and a chance to relax.

There are 2 start groups: one at 13:00 and one at 13:30. There is no timekeeping; it’s a social run. An exclusive Runners Bier can be ordered in advance and will be ready on the day. After the run, there’s a get-together with more beer. Participants receive a sporty keepsake and a unique medal at the finish. The route starts at Folkingebrew The Pub, where you can order an exclusive Runners Bier. The event focuses on fun, sociability and discovering Groningen beers.
