WoolderEsloop

The Wooldereslopen is a running competition organized by MPM in Hengelo for more than 45 years. The competition consists of four races held during the first months of the year, with distances of 1.4, 5.1, 10 and 15 kilometers. The course runs through the countryside around Hengelo, with the start and finish at the same location in the Woolderes. The races are open to various categories and offer a friendly, sporting atmosphere for runners of different levels.

Pre-registration closes on 3 January 2027; late registration is available on race day from 9:00 a.m. until half an hour before the start at Semmelweisstraat 46, IKC De Wooldermarke. Race numbers can be collected on the preceding Saturday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. or on race day. The race number includes a timing chip and is valid for all four races. Shower and changing facilities are available in the small sports hall on Woolderesweg, which closes at 1:15 p.m. A running shirt and medal can optionally be ordered during pre-registration and collected with the race number or after the finish. The standings are based on at least 3 of the 4 races. Wearing earbuds/headphones is discouraged. Bringing pets, strollers, etc. is not allowed. Participants can register for different distances, with the start and finish at Woolderes. The event offers prizes such as cash and gift vouchers. The race takes place on 31 January 2027 and is suitable for both recreational and competitive runners.
