Sterke Start Loop

The Sterke Start Loop on 15 November 2026 in Zevenhuizen is a running event with distances of 5, 10 and 21 kilometres. The routes pass through beautiful countryside, alongside water and through wooded areas, mainly on paved surfaces, with unpaved trails also included in the 21 km route. The event offers a unique and varied running experience and supports premature babies. There is also a 1 km Kidsrun with obstacles, symbolising the challenges faced by children born prematurely. The start and finish are at the Willem-Alexanderbaan, where participants and supporters gather for a strong start to the day.

The start and finish are at the Willem-Alexanderbaan in Zevenhuizen. Parking is clearly signposted, and public transport is not available because of the early start time. The Kidsrun starts at 11:00. Participants can be cheered on at the finish, with estimated arrival times for each distance. Volunteers are being sought to support the event. The event supports research and care for premature babies, with a Kidsrun and the option to participate virtually. Proceeds go to charities and scientific research.
