Race description
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, the very first Run for Care will take place in the Krimpenerhout recreation area, near Krimpen aan de Lek. This is a 5- or 10-kilometer sponsored run for runners and walkers, where the goal is not the fastest time but the biggest heart. Participants can take part individually or as a team and raise sponsorship money to provide help and hope in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Alongside the run, there will be a lively fair at the De Groene Weg charity shop, so family and friends can enjoy the day too.
