Nijmegen-Rotterdam

The Nijmegen-Rotterdam is the longest continuous walking event in the Netherlands, covering a distance of 160 km. The event starts on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 11.00 in Nijmegen and finishes on Sunday 20 September in Rotterdam. The route was renewed in 2022 and is improved every year, with six refreshments stops and various support stations along the way. The organisers provide a safe and well-supported walking experience, including first aid and foot care. Participants who complete the event successfully receive a certificate and a special keepsake.

The event starts in groups from Sporthal De Boog in Nijmegen. Registration is open from 9.30 to 10.30. Wearing a reflective vest is mandatory during the night; one can be rented or purchased at the start. An experienced first-aid and foot-care team will be on hand. A meal is served after approximately 60 km. If you withdraw, the entry fee is refunded minus a €5 administration fee. Discounts may be available for federation members and members of other associations. 160 km route, start in Nijmegen, finish in Rotterdam, including refreshments stops, support stations, a meal and first aid; reflective vests and flashlights are recommended.
