Misty Lakes Trail

The Misty Lakes Trail is a challenging trail run taking place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Gerwen (Nuenen). The routes pass through beautiful forests with many small lakes and heathland, with more than 90% of the course on unpaved paths. The trail features short climbs, winding single tracks, and an ascent of the “Roof of Brabant,” the Gulbergen. The various distances offer a rewarding challenge for every level, with a welcoming finish area where spectators can cheer on the runners.

The start and finish are at ’t Huysven, De Huikert 35, 5674 RG Nuenen. Partner NNormal will have a stand where trail runners can test trail shoes. There will also be a pop-up store selling trail gear on site. Bib transfers are possible via Inschrijven.nl and a resale platform. The Misty Lakes Trail running shirt will still be available in limited quantities at the race office on the day. Visitors can cheer on the runners at the finish between 11:30 and 15:30 while enjoying a drink and BBQ. The routes are marked with orange ribbons, GPX files are available, and facilities include changing rooms, showers, and first aid.
