Marathon Amersfoort

Marathon Amersfoort is a sporting and festive running event held in the city of Amersfoort. The event offers a range of distances for all levels, including a marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, mini marathons and walking distances. The marathon is held in early spring to ensure favourable weather conditions. A varied music programme along the course supports and encourages runners and spectators.

On Saturday, there is a 42.2 km training marathon starting at 8:30. On Sunday, there are 5, 10 and 21 km runs, various walking distances and mini marathons for primary school pupils. The organisers ask participants and spectators to travel by bike or on foot wherever possible. Parking is available in the Eemplein and Oppidium car parks. Amersfoort Centraal station is about a 10-minute walk from the event. Participants can register from 1 November; the event also includes walking routes and a training run on 30 May. The race is organised in cooperation with the municipality of Amersfoort and includes various course options.
