Kustloop Vrouwenpolder

The Kustloop Vrouwenpolder is a challenging half marathon known as “Walchers mooiste” (Walcheren’s most beautiful). The approximately 21.1-kilometre route runs along Lake Veere and over the North Sea beach, with beautiful views and nature areas around Vrouwenpolder. Runners can also take part in shorter distances of 12 km and 6 km. The start is on Dorpsdijk, near the Pelgrimskerk, and refreshment stations are available approximately every 5 kilometres. Registration includes a T-shirt for walkers or a singlet for runners.

Walkers start at 10:30, and runners at 11:30. The prize-giving takes place as soon as a podium has been completed. Changing facilities are available in the gym a short walk from the start. Race numbers can be transferred or resold via the personal dashboard until 26 August 2026. A refreshment station is available approximately every 5 kilometres. The course runs along Lake Veere and the North Sea beach; registration includes a T-shirt or singlet, and changing facilities are available.
