Kranenbroeker Bosloop

The Kranenbroeker Bosloop is an annual running series held in the beautiful Kranenbroek nature reserve in Echt. The races are organised by Recreatiesport Vereniging Kranenbroek and are open to everyone, from beginners to competitive athletes. The course follows well-maintained forest trails and country roads, giving participants the opportunity to track their performances across multiple races. The start and finish are at the same location, and distances range from 1 km for children to approximately 10.5 km for adults.

Registration is available until 10:00 at the shelter near the entrance to the Kranenbroek nature reserve (Leenderstraat 1). There is a warm-up at 10:00. The 1 km kids’ race starts at 10:15, and the other distances start at 10:30. Each distance has its own colour for the course arrows and bib numbers. Proceeds from the final Bosloop in April go to a good cause. Participation is at your own risk. After the race, a Limburg vlaai is raffled among participants. Registration until 10:15, start and finish near the shelter, group warm-up at 10:00, proceeds go to good causes such as Team Para Atletiek.
