Halve van Oostvoorne

The Halve van Oostvoorne is a welcoming running event taking place on Sunday, 7 March 2027, in the lively village centre and the scenic dunes of Oostvoorne. Participants can choose from a half marathon of 21.1 km, a fast 8 km, or youth races of 1 and 2 km. The paved course offers a lovely mix of nature and village scenery, with excellent facilities such as changing rooms, showers and parking close to the start. Organised by football club OVV and Voorne Atletiek, the event promises a safe, well-run day full of sporting fun.

The 1 km youth race starts at 11:00 (up to age 11); the 2 km race starts at 11:15 (up to age 14). The 8 km and half marathon start at 12:00. All participants receive a medal. Minimum age: 14 for the 8 km and 16 for the half marathon. Facilities: unguarded changing rooms and showers, parking, and a canteen serving drinks, sandwiches and snacks. Half-marathon course records: men 01:06.36; women 01:17.41. Parking is available close to the start, with several other parking options within walking distance.
