Geopark Hondsrug Crosscircuit

The Geopark Hondsrug Cross Circuit is a challenging cross-country circuit held in the beautiful Hondsrug area, a unique Ice Age landscape and UNESCO Global Geopark. The circuit consists of several cross-country races organized by different local running groups, where participants can enjoy an active experience in a natural and varied setting. Participants of different ages and ability levels can take part, with special rules for juniors. The circuit promotes sportsmanship and a connection with the landscape.

Participants take part at their own risk and must have adequate insurance. Juniors (ages 12 to 17) may only run the short distance. Entry fees are non-refundable, but participants may be replaced up to one week before the event. Encouragement prizes are awarded at the closing event in Grolloo. The event comprises several cross-country races in the region, with a focus on active movement and discovering the Geopark area.
