Dobbeloop

The Dobbeloop is a monthly recreational running event organized by the Nootdorp Ice Club, held in the natural area around Dobbeplas between Pijnacker and Nootdorp. The course is almost entirely traffic-free and paved with asphalt, with guidance from cyclists, arrows, and staffed checkpoints. The start is at the Nootdorp Ice Club clubhouse at Oudeweg 74 in Nootdorp. There are various distances for children and adults, with on-site registration and a friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse.

The children’s run for ages 5 and under (750 meters) starts at 10:30, the youth run for ages 6–12 (1,500 meters) starts at 10:45, and the other distances (3.2, 5, 10, and 15 km) start at 11:00. The clubhouse opens at 10:00, with changing and shower facilities available. Registration takes place on site. Children receive a memento if they participate at least 6 times out of 10 during the season. Results are usually published on the website the same day. Because of congestion around the start/finish area, participants are asked to come on foot or by bicycle if possible. Traffic-free course, start and finish at the clubhouse, on-site registration, start times may differ for the half marathon.
