Avondkerstloop

The Avondkerstloop is a festive and sporty evening run held annually on the Saturday before Christmas in the illuminated village of Nispen. The unique start is inside the church on Kerkplein, after which participants run through atmospheric, illuminated streets. There are several distances, including a kids’ run, 5 km and 10 km, with medals for all finishers and prizes for the fastest runners. The organizers provide changing rooms, hot showers and a convivial prize ceremony at Café De Gouden Leeuw.

Race-number pickup and on-the-day registration are available from 16:00 at Café De Gouden Leeuw. Walkers can register between 14:00 and 16:00 and will receive a route. Changing rooms and hot showers are available at Sportpark de Wallen. Free parking is available in Nispen. Weekly group training sessions take place on Saturdays at 8:30 and Sundays at 9:00, starting from the open-air theatre. There is a maximum of 250 participants per distance.
