Race description
The ACO Van Elderen Crossloop is a challenging cross-country race organised by athletics club ACO Van Elderen in Ommen. The race is part of the Prins Sport-Vechtdalcrosscompetitie and takes place in the nature area around Ommen. The race starts on the athletics track, after which the course runs mostly off-road through the forest. There are three distances: 1.75 km, 5 km and 10 km, with participants running one or more laps through the forest. The cross-country race is known for its natural surroundings and varied course.

Additional information
Registration is online only and open until 4 March 2027; no on-the-day registration is available. A lead cyclist will ride ahead of the runners during the race. For the 5 km and 10 km, day prizes are awarded to the first three women and men, provided by sponsors. For the youth distance (1.75 km), prizes are awarded to the first three in each category.
