57e AV Climax Horaloop

The 57th AV Climax Horaloop takes place on Saturday, 28 November 2026, in Ede. The race offers several distances, including children’s races, 5 km, 10 km and 10 English miles (16.1 km). The course runs through the hills of Hoekelumse Bos and the rolling valley of the Renkumse beek, with a choice of paved cycle paths or unpaved trails. The Horaloop is an atmospheric and challenging race, with chip timing and a welcoming finish venue at Hoekelum Castle.

Race numbers with chips can be collected on Friday, 27 November, between 18:00 and 21:00 at Atletiek Vereniging Climax, or on race day from 8:30 until 20 minutes before the start. There is a 2-hour time limit for the 10 English miles. Water stations are available along the route. There is no supervised cloakroom, but there is a place to leave belongings at your own risk. A changing tent is available; there are no showers. Parking is at Hoekelum farm, with clear directions and traffic marshals. Dogs are not allowed during the race. Registration is via Inschrijven.nl; the race offers options for both recreational and competitive runners.
