0522 RUN – Urban City Run Meppel

The 0522 RUN - Urban City Run Meppel is a unique 5.22 km discovery run through Meppel city centre, organised by JCI Meppel-Reestmond. It is not a race, but an experience where participants discover Meppel’s most beautiful streets, businesses, squares and landmarks, with surprising entertainment along the way. There is no timing or pressure to perform; the focus is on having fun and experiencing the city. After the finish, there is a lively afterparty in the heart of Meppel. Proceeds from the event go to Stichting De (W)arme Kant van Meppel, which provides practical help to local residents experiencing financial difficulties.

The start is at Kerkplein, with rolling starts in groups. Race numbers and shirts can be collected on the day at Oostergetel Makelaardij, Kleine Oever 6, Meppel, between 11:30 and 14:00. Parking is free in the immediate vicinity. The course is not closed to traffic, so participants must obey traffic rules. There is an afterparty after the finish in Meppel city centre. Regular registration is closed, but tickets can be transferred or resold via Atleta. Route through the city centre, creative challenges, afterparty, charity element
